HYBRIT receives EU funding
HYBRIT has received €143 million ($157m) in funding from the EU as one of seven innovative projects under the Innovation Fund. The funding goes towards an industrial- and commercial-scale demonstration of a complete value chain for hydrogen-based iron and steelmaking, from mine to fossil-free steel, says LKAB, partner in the zero-emissions steelmaking joint venture.
