IMI shipbuilding yard eyes 2023 full operations
Saudi Arabia-based joint venture International Maritime Industries (IMI), a shipbuilding and repair yard, is planning to reach full capacity within a year, Kallanish notes.
IMI chief executive Abdullah Al Ahmari told Seatrade Maritime News: "As we move towards operational readiness, we have begun transitioning our workforce to the yard with the aim of having all our employees located there by the end of 2022.”
