India eyes booking HRC ahead of further drops
Amid plunging demand for the hot-rolled coil in Europe coupled with weakened sentiments in the Indian domestic market, Indian mills aim to book the maximum quantity of HRC, before the prices crash further. This week, prices were noted seesawing on the back of holidays in Europe and limited enquires from the Gulf Cooperation Council, sources informed Kallanish.
