Mobarakeh Steel aids Iran import substitution
Iran’s largest flat steel producer, Mobarakeh Steel (MSC), has increased its production volume, range and quality, while reducing energy consumption. This has reduced imports into Iran and made the country more self-sufficient, according to a note on the Iranian Steel Producers’ Association (ISPA) website.
