Iron ore prices return to gains
Seaborne iron ore prices rebounded slightly on Thursday, and the market once again turned to expectations of restocking by steel mills.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index gained $0.07/tonne on Thursday to $100.53/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index was $0.13/t higher at $112.44/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index rose $0.4/t to $86.79/dmt cfr.
