Iron ore rises on falling inventories
Seaborne iron ore prices maintained their gains last week as market demand picked up.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index gained $3.45/t on Friday to $105.66/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index was $3.43/t higher to $118.2/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index rose $2.74/t to $94.52/dmt cfr. 170,000t of PB fine were sold at $104.1/dmt with a laycan of 27 September to 6 October.
