Iron ore slumps on Tangshan restrictions
Seaborne iron ore prices fell on Monday, as news of production curbs in Tangshan hit market sentiment.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index lost $3.54/tonne to $102.12/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao on Monday. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index was $3.57/t lower to $114.63/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index was down $2.17/t to $92.35/dmt cfr. 170,000 tonnes of PB fine were sold at $100/dmt with shipment between 28 September and 7 October.
