Italian coil market goes quiet amid Ukraine conflict
Italian prices for hot-dipped galvanised and cold rolled coil are stable week-on-week after previously lifting by €40/tonne ($44) in contracts compared to last month. Italian buyers however fear further HRC value escalation in Italy caused by the Russia-Ukraine crisis and consequent higher prices for HDG and CRC.
