Italian crude output declines
Italian crude steel output in February confirmed the decline seen in January after a significant hike in 2021, according to data issued by local steelmakers association Federacciai.
Last month, crude steel production declined by 2% year-on-year to 2 million tonnes and by 2.9% on-year over the first two months of 2022 to 3.8mt, Kallanish notes.
