Italian scrap prices are not falling as initially planned by steelmakers. December contracts are mostly stable compared to last month, with demand considered average. Some mills are insisting on decreasing their prices by €10/tonne ($10.5) but this has not yet been shown in this week's contracts, sources tell Kallanish.
