Italian merchant bar prices weaken
Italian merchant bar market activity has been continuously slow through July and August. Mills and distributors are now on holiday but have registered reduced prices and weak demand for both merchant bars and beams. There has been very little restocking by large distributors in recent weeks, local sources tell Kallanish.
