Italian scrap prices rebound
Italian scrap demand is stirring and prices are changing direction. After the steep fall in January values, domestic material is now going back to the high levels of December. Prices lost €50/tonne ($56) on average this month but are now recovering €50/t in the first agreed contracts for February delivery, Kallanish hears.
