Italian stainless scrap demand surges
Italian stainless steel scrap prices remain mostly flat month-on-month, with sales volumes said to be good, as activity is improving this month after a weak October, sources tell Kallanish.
Mills are resuming production in November after October stoppages. Coils producer Acciai Speciali Terni (AST), now part of Arvedi, is restarting all equipment and will produce at normal levels.
