Italy prepares for pig iron price decline
Italian pig iron prices are seen decreasing this month as activity remains subdued and demand is considered weak.
While the latest deals at the end of December were concluded at $560/tonne cfr Italy, distributors are asking for the equivalent of $570/t cfr for material in consignment at the Marghera port, the main Italian steel hub.
