Japanese scrap firms in monthly export tender
The latest Kanto Tetsugen scrap export tender closed higher from last month, Kallanish notes.
The Kanto Tetsugen Cooperative Association awarded Toyota Tsusho Material 15,000 tonnes at JPY 51,040/tonne ($359/t) free alongside (fas) in its 9 September export tender. This is JPY 8,979 higher than its previous tender held in August. A total of 15 companies participated in the tender and they bid for a total of 85,400t.
