Jindal Stainless (JSL) aims to increase its steel melting shop capacity by 1 million tonnes/year to 2m t/y in the fourth quarter (FQ4) of the current fiscal year ending 31 March 2023, Kallanish notes.
The firm also plans to hike its hot-rolled annealed pickled (HRAP) and cot-rolled annealed pickled (CRAP) combo line capacities by 0.45m t/y and 0.3m t/y, respectively, to 1.25m t/y and 0.75m t/y through FQ4. JSL is also increasing its ferrochrome production capacity…
