JM Steel installs new slitting, packaging lines
US flatrolled processor and stockist JM Steel has installed a new slitting and packaging line from Red Bud Industries at its facility in Sinton, Texas.
The new heavy gauge slitting line can process coils weighing up to 105,000 pounds, in thicknesses up to 0.5 inches and widths up to 84 inches.
The new packaging line includes an automatic downlayer, semi-automatic ID banding capabilities, and an automatic stacker.
