July imports fall in US
The American Iron and Steel Institute reports an import decrease of 5.7% in July from June, Kallanish reports.
Using the Census data collected in July, AISI reports the US imported a total of 2.67 million short tons in the month of July. Cut-to-length plate was up in July by 22% while OCTG goods were up 21%.
