Kametstal overhauls sintering machine during downtime
Metinvest’s Kametstal steelworks has started the upgrade of sintering machine No.12, Kallanish notes.
The work involves the replacement of the apron conveyor designed to transfer the finished sinter to the bunker rack for subsequent transportation to the blast furnace shop, the enterprise claims.
Simultaneously with the overhaul of the conveyor, maintenance will be performed on most components and mechanisms.
