Kardemir decreases prices, bags billet orders
Kardemir published a new price list and opened domestic sales for billet, sections and wire rod on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
150mm square billet was decreased by $25/tonne from the previous list issued on 18 May to $595-600/t.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod have been decreased by $15/t to $660-700/t, from Kardemir's previous list on 17 May.
Sections prices, meanwhile, have been pegged at $775-985/t.
