Kardemir finds good billet demand amid Turkish market
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for billet on Thursday, Kallanish notes.
Size 150mm square billet was increased by $30/tonne from the previous list issued on 8 February to $665-670/t. Prices quoted are ex-works and exclude 18% VAT.
Kardemir, facing strong demand, closed sales on Thursday afternoon after selling 70,000t of billet.
The lira stood at around 18.87/$1 at business close, meanwhile.
