Attractive sales terms secure Kardemir good billet demand
Kardemir published a new price list and opened domestic sales for billet, wire rod and sections on Thursday, Kallanish notes.
150mm square billet was decreased by $20/tonne from the previous list issued on 5 April to $610-615/t.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod have been decreased by $20/t to $685-725/t, from Kardemir's previous list on 12 April.
Merchant bar prices for various products range from $790-1,000/t.
