Kardemir limits rebar sales, faces strong demand
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for rebar and wire rod on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
Rebar in diameters of 12-32mm and 36-40mm were each increased by TRY 395/tonne ($20.9/t) to TRY 13,785/t and TRY 13,875/t, respectively, versus Kardemir’s previous list on 2 February.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod have been increased by $20/t to $745-785/tonne from Kardemir's previous list on 1 February.
