Kardemir opens billet, long steel sales
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for rebar and wire rod on Wednesday, and billet on Thursday, Kallanish notes.
Rebar in diameters of 12-32mm and 36-40mm was each decreased by TRY 415/tonne ($22/t) to TRY 12,990/t and TRY 13,080/t, respectively, versus Kardemir’s previous list on 9 September.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod have increased by $17/t to $717-782/t, from Kardemir's list on 9 September.
