Kardemir plans third-quarter rebar sales increase
Kardemir plans to sell a higher share of semi-finished product than rebar again in the third quarter, as it did in the previous quarters. Overall Q3 sales are projected to decrease by 2,000 tonnes compared to Q2 targets to 565,000t.
The Turkish integrated steelmaker plans to sell 147,000t of rebar, up from 125,000t in Q2. Kardemir plans to increase wire rod sales by 1,000t to 136,000t. Sales of sections, including rail, are expected to increase also by 1…
