Kardemir focuses on billet sales in first quarter

Kardemir plans to sell a higher share of semi-finished product than rebar again in the first quarter of 2023, as it did in 2022. Overall Q1 sales are projected to decrease by 4,000 tonnes compared to the Q4 2022 target to 565,000t. The Turkish integrated steelmaker plans to sell 133,000t of rebar, up from 110,000t in Q4.
