Kazakhstan eyes alloy, stainless scrap export ban exclusion
Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development has prepared amendments to the April order that implemented a six-month ban on exports of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, Kallanish notes.
The move comes after the ministry was approached by scrap-collecting enterprises with a request to exclude alloyed and stainless steel from the ban on exports.
