LatAm crude steel production weakens in 2022

South American and Mexican crude steel production fell on-month in December, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. South American production totalled 3.29 million tonnes in the month, or 126,000t less compared to November. This volume was also 3.8% down compared to the volume of 3.42mt in the same period in 2021.
