LatAm August steel shipments to US remain down

Latin American steel exports to the US decreased both on-month and on-year in August. Year-to-date exports were also lower, mainly as a result of reduced supply from Brazil, Kallanish notes. Latin America in this context includes South and Central American countries together with Mexico.
