LatAm primary iron production recovers sequentially in March
Latin American primary iron production increased month-on-month in March. Output, however, was down when compared to the same period in 2022, Kallanish learns from regional steel producers' association Alacero.
According to figures, regional primary iron production was at 3.23 million tonnes in March, a growth of 8.8% on February’s 2.97mt but 3% down year-on-year.
