Latin American November finished steel output slips
Latin American finished steel production fell month-on-month in November 2021. Output also slipped, albeit insignificantly, year-on-year, Kallanish learns from regional steel producers' association Alacero’s latest report.
Finished steel output reached 4.32 million tonnes in November, 6.4% less over October and 0.8% less y-o-y. Long steel represented 2.2mt, while flat steel amounted to 1.99mt and seamless tube to 131,700t.
