Latin American steel output fells in July: worldsteel

South American and Mexican crude steel production decreased on-month in July. Output was also weaker on-year, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. South American production totalled 3.61 million tonnes in July, down 2.3% m-o-m. This volume was also 7.8% less compared to the volume of 3.92mt in the same period in 2021.
