Line pipe prices increase 7.5% in June
Average line pipe prices moved up again in June, Kallanish learns from analyst Pipe Logix.
Pipe Logix puts average pricing up 7.5% in June at $2,187/short ton. Domestic pricing rose by 7.6% to $2,438/st, while import pricing rose 7.3% to $1,937/st.
Welded line pipe witnessed a relatively steeper increase than seamless, largely due to the continued, historic run-up in skelp prices.
