LMC lowers US light vehicle sales forecast
LMC Automotive is lowering its 2022 outlook for light vehicle sales in the US as lower-than-anticipated production rates continue to constrain supply.
The forecasting and market intelligence firm now expects US light vehicle sales to total 15.3 million units this year – a decrease of 500,000 units from last month’s expectations.
Light vehicle sales in March were 1.25m units, pushing first quarter sales to 3.29m units – a 16% decline from Q1 2021…
