Longgang progresses with approvals for steelmaking upgrade
China’s Shaanxi-based Longmen Iron & Steel (Longgang) has obtained the approval of the energy saving report for its steelmaking upgrade project, Kallanish notes.
The Shaanxi Department of Ecology and Environment says it intends to make a decision on the environmental impact assessment (EIA), which typically means a formal permission after publicity period ending on 30 November.
