Mid-East December steel output rises, Egypt falls
Iran, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar combined crude steel output inched up 11.9% on-month in December to 3.94 million tonnes, according to the latest worldsteel data. This was driven mainly by Saudi Arabia’s 67.5% production jump.
