MMK readies new coke battery for launch
MMK has begun drying and heating of block No.3 as part of the construction of the new coke oven battery No.12, the company tells Kallanish.
Together with block No.4 as part of the first stage of the complex, the unit is scheduled to be put into operation this summer, the enterprise claims.
At present, refractory lining has been fully completed at both blocks, with preparations for drying and heating carried out at the third block.
