NLMK begins by-product power plant assembly

Miner and steelmaker NLMK has embarked on equipment assembly of its new 300MW power plant at the flagship Russian Lipetsk steelworks, the company says in a note sent to Kallanish. The new plant, initiated in 2019, will raise NLMK's energy self-sufficiency from 64% to 95% upon completion.
