NLMK completes environmental improvements at Lipetsk
Russia’ NLMK tells Kallanish that its main production site at Lipetsk has completed performance testing of new air purification systems installed on facilities that underwent capital repairs in late 2019.
The equipment in question is Basic Oxygen Furnace No. 2, with capacity in excess of 3 million tonnes/year of steel and blast furnace No. 6, with a capacity of 3.4m t/y of pig iron.
