NLMK expands high-value-added wire rod range
NLMK's Russian long products mill NLMK-Ural has launched enclosed steel casting technology at its continuous billet caster in order to increase billet quality by minimising the secondary oxidation process, the company says.
The technology will enable the mill to increase output of high-quality wire rod, used in manufacturing quality wire, including from alloyed steel grades.
