NMDC iron ore sales plummet in June
NMDC reported a 40% on-year drop in iron ore sales in June to 1.9 million tonnes, while production fell 14% to 2.57mt.
The steeper falls in performance came at the Karnataka unit, which reduced sales by two thirds to 320,000t, while output was down 39% to 630,000t. While sales at Chhattisgarh were also down, output was flat on-year at 1.94mt.
