North American, Egyptian demand lift Turkish pipe exports
Turkish welded pipe exports rose for a fifth consecutive month in June by 18% on-year to 232,505 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. This was also up from 181,955t in May.
The average value of June exports was $1,193/tonne versus $945/t a year earlier and $1,121/t in May.
