Northern European wire rod prices have increased this week amid higher demand, sources say. Most participants expect the market to improve in the next few weeks.
“Prices are increasing finally after the quiet market in recent months,” a buyer from the Netherlands tells Kallanish. “Customers are starting to purchase more volumes.”
The increase is between €20-30/tonne for most sorts.
