Northern European wire rod prices remain stable
Northern European wire rod prices have remained flat this week, as some steel mills will temporarily stop production due to high energy costs and Christmas holidays. However, sources continue to expect further increases due to good demand.
“The situation didn’t change since last week in the Benelux, France, Germany and Scandinavia, because prices continue to be very high in Europe,” a buyer from the Netherlands tells Kallanish.
