Nucor, EXLTUBE raise tubular prices
A new push has begun for higher tube pricing in the US, Kallanish reports.
Both EXLTUBE and Nucor Tubular Products have sent out customer letters asking for an additional $100/short ton for its A500 structural and A513 mechanical products. Nucor’s increase also affects pipe and piling products.
Both companies’ increases are effective immediately, though extant orders will be price-protected through 28 May.
