Nucor hikes tubular prices
Nucor’s tubular wing is raising base prices across the board by $125/short ton, effective immediately, Kallanish understands.
The increase covers all hollow structural sections, pipe, mechanical tube and piling products.
“This increase is a result of rising raw material costs, strong demand, and volatility of transportation costs,” the company says in a customer letter.
