Nucor raises plate prices by $40/st
Nucor has raised quench and tempered, normalised and as rolled plate by $40/short ton, Kallanish learns from a company price adjustment letter.
Effective beginning 20 April, the company opened its books for June orders. The notice explains that Nucor has the right to review unconfirmed offers.
As previously reported on 19 April, US plate prices stood at $1,500-1,540/st before the adjustment was issued.
