Nucor drops plate prices
Nucor is lowering its plate prices, effective immediately, Kallanish learns from a company letter.
The company issued the following decreases: as rolled and normalized products at $50/short ton, cut-to-length < 72” for $200/st, and cut-to-length 72”-84” $100/st.
Last week, Kallanish assessed plate at $1,910-1,930/st. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill.
