Pakistan mills hike rebar further on costlier inputs
Owing to costlier scrap and surging energy costs, coupled with the rupee’s devaluation against the dollar, major Pakistani mills have hiked their rebar offers by PKR 7,000/tonne ($38.33) in the domestic market. This is the third time mills have raised their offers in March, Kallanish notes.
