Pakistan mills cut coil prices amid rupee appreciation
Pakistan-based flat steel producers have dropped their cold rolled and galvanized coil offers by around PKR 14,040/tonne ($65.44), mainly because of the rupee appreciation and a fall in global hot rolled coil offers, Kallanish notes.
Effective 17 August, Aisha Steel has dropped 0.25-2.5mm CRC (prime grade/annealed, skin passed and oiled) prices to PKR 267,989-280,859/t, including taxes.
